I'm sure you understand that we can't tell you the exact formula of our 99% bio-based material for reasons of confidentiality. But what we can tell you is that we obtain our raw materials as waste products from other industries.

Why transparency is important for sustainable razors

Even if we don't tell you the exact composition of the raw materials, we create transparency where we can. The material of our sustainable razors is 99% biobased and we can prove that. It is certified by TUV Austria With the highest classification of 4 stars in accordance with EN 16640. 99% CO2 neutrality — an important aspect of our bio-based razors

An equally important aspect of our sustainable razors is 99% CO2 neutrality. Since our raw materials absorb CO2 when they are created, they can never emit more CO2 than they have absorbed during disposal (household waste, landfill, compost). This means that neither microplastics nor pollutants enter the ecosystem. Even if you simply throw our bio-based razors in the trash.

What makes our bio-based razors different from other products?

You probably know shaving products made from materials such as bamboo, wheat straw, cellulose and polylactide. Sounds sustainable, doesn't it? However, most of these products deliberately avoid a precise declaration, as the bio-based content usually only accounts for a fraction of the product (approx. 50%) and the rest is based on fossil raw materials. In addition, bleach and disproportionately large amounts of water are usually used for cultivation and production, or environmentally harmful by-products or waste are produced. And yet can it say “sustainable”?
